The CBS recently published a report saying that about a third of Dutch companies have not or barely digitised the processes in their day-to-day operations. In a way, this makes sense of course. You could assume that smaller companies have less money to spend, and are thus not spending that money on software or other digitisation efforts. But I have another view on the matter. I think that smaller companies think they are too small for digitisation. Too, being the operative word here.
Picture this, itโs the end of the first quarter, you have a board meeting on the 1st of April. The pressure as an EHS manager is on, because the company is expecting a projection for the rest of the year. The CEO wants you to present your ideas on how youโll be reaching your goals this year. As a manager, you know there were a few setbacks these past couple months that you'll need to mitigate, but what's the solution? Also, during the last meeting you decided to (further) digitise the EHS processes. Lots of decisions to be made.
